I’m the founder, community manager, web developer, accountant, customer support, and the guy who answers your messages at 2 a.m.
Yes, it’s a one-man show, but when you’ve worked on boats for over a decade, multitasking becomes a survival skill.
I’m a professional skipper and I still actively work in the industry. In fact, I have my own profile here, so yes, I’m the platform’s first user too!
Over the years, I’ve hired crew members myself, as a charter boat owner and for businesses I’ve worked with.
I’ve seen both sides of the equation and my goal is to build a connection between them, where everyone benefits.
How It Started
2016
Returning to Greece from one of my trips around the world, I realized how closed-off and secretive the boating industry in our country really is. No one would tell you where to find work or how to get started unless you personally knew someone who could “push” you in.
So I started a Facebook group to share info and help each other out. Nearly ten years later, it’s still the most popular group for Greek yachting professionals, despite the dozens that came after
Taking It Further
2025
it was clear that Facebook wasn’t cutting it anymore. Posts got buried, spam was constant and there was no way to keep the quality high.
So I built this website, a better, cleaner, fairer way for people to find jobs and crew. Alongside my experience at sea, I used my studies in Informatics and my knowledge in coding to develop the platform from the ground up.
It’s designed with all the lessons learned from years of community experience, focused on connecting the right people.
This website is also my way to keep the community alive sustainably. For years I volunteered endless hours keeping things organized and fair. Now, the platform gives me a way to continue doing that work in a better and more lasting way.

Unlike many similar sites, this one isn’t here to make millions, it’s here to make a difference.
It exists to serve the community, improve the way we connect, and help people find better, safer, and fairer opportunities on boats in Greece.
This platform also includes a review and verification system, to help keep it safe and transparent. We don’t allow employers or employees with a history of abusive behavior. Respect at sea (and online) is non-negotiable.
