We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Deckhand to join our charter motor yacht based in Kalamata, Greece. This is a full-time position with an immediate start, ideally within 1 to 2 weeks. The initial contract period is 6 months with the opportunity to go over to a permanent full-time contract after this. The yacht is currently undergoing refurbishment, and the successful candidate will initially support all aspects of the refit. Duties will include cleaning, maintenance and general project tasks, working closely with the existing team of contractors.<\/p>\n
Once the refurbishment is complete, in time for the first charters in June, the role will focus on full exterior and interior upkeep and maintenance of the vessel to the highest standards. This position is suited to a proactive, self-motivated individual who takes pride in their work and wants to develop within a yacht programme from the ground up.<\/p>\n
Key responsibilities include assisting with all ongoing refurbishment and refit tasks, maintaining the exterior and interior of the yacht to an immaculate standard, carrying out general deck maintenance such as washing, polishing and teak care, supporting tender operations and water sports equipment, assisting with provisioning, line handling and docking operations, and ensuring all safety equipment is maintained and operational.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
